Yes – Jungle Property does not discriminate on the grounds of:

  • age
  • disability
  • gender reassignment
  • marriage and civil partnership
  • pregnancy and maternity
  • race
  • religion or belief
  • sex

Whilst our clients do not discriminate for any of the above characteristics, they accept or reject an offer or tenancy application based on their perception of how likely it is that the offeror or applicant will perform the covenants within the tenancy agreement.

A person’s entitlement to housing benefit, and level of any entitlement, is based on that person’s situation at the time a housing benefit claim is made. Nobody can say if that person will be entitled to housing benefit, and if so what level, at the start of any proposed tenancy. Tenant referencing is based on evidence available at the time the tenancy application is made  and does not take into account any future claim for housing benefit.

Please note: some landlords may have a mortgage agreement that has a condition of no letting to housing benefit claimants.
