The tenancy agreement states no candles are allowed in the property is this correct?

Yes – Under the terms of our tenancy agreements the tenant agrees not to keep at, or bring to the property, any inflammable or other material or equipment which might reasonably be considered to be a fire hazard, or otherwise dangerous to the property or the health of its occupants or of the neighbours which includes, but is not limited to, Calor gas and paraffin heaters. Not to burn candles, joss sticks, oil lamps, tea lights, hookah pipes or incense in the property.
