Holding Deposit

There are two parts to reserving a property: 1. Complete a Reservation Agreement – available here 2. Pay the Holding Deposit – see here A property cannot be reserved until the an offer to rent the property has been accepted by the landlord (or Jungle Property acting in their behalf).

If the Applicant’s references are not satisfactory as detailed in section 6 of the Terms and Conditions of our Reservation Agreement, a tenancy will not be granted and the Holding Deposit will be refunded less any reasonable costs as defined in section 4 of the Terms and Conditions. In the first instance check the Reservation Agreement Terms and Conditions. The reasonable costs referred to in the Terms and Conditions includes losses for potential rent. The losses for potential rent are calculated on a daily basis as follows: Monthly Rent (£) multiplied by 12 (months) divided by 365 (days). The period for calculation of losses for potential rent will begin on the date the agreement is signed and dated and will end when your application is withdrawn.

Immediately we receive the completed Reservation Agreement and Holding Deposit we will cease carrying out further viewings of the property and will not accept any new offers to rent the property whilst we carry out tenant referencing and check the immigration status for all applicants who are included in your application.
