Under Section 2 (g)(iv) of the The Housing (Tenancy Deposits) (Prescribed Information) Order 2007 the Prescribed Information is the name, address, telephone number, and any e-mail address or fax number of the tenant, including such details that should be used by the landlord or scheme administrator for the purpose of contacting the tenant at the end of the tenancy.

Prospective tenants (Applicants) are asked to provide this as part of their reservation (Reservation Agreement) and it is this information we use in the Prescribed Information Relating to Tenancy Deposits given to the tenants at the start of the tenancy.

Few people will know where they will be living after their tenancy ends so this legal requirement often causes confusion but we are obliged by law to ask the question and include the information.
