Yes – in this scenario there are two ways the tenancy could be brought to an end before the expiry of the notice:
- Tenant gives the landlord a notice of termination – a written statement of the tenant’s intention to end the tenancy. Any notice of termination must accord with the terms of the Tenancy Agreement.
- Tenant offers to Surrender the tenancy and the landlord accepts the offer to Surrender.
