If your property is managed by Jungle Property, we will on behalf of the landlord notify, at the end of the tenancy, the local authority responsible for the collection of Council Tax and any providers of any electricity, gas, oil and any other relevant fuels, water and environmental services to the property. You are responsible for any Council Tax liability and the cost of any electricity, gas, oil and any other relevant fuels, water and environmental services until the last day of your tenancy or until the property is occupied by a new tenant or the owner, whichever is the sooner event.

If a new tenancy is starting at the property before the last day of your tenancy – meter readings taken at the Check-In for the new tenancy will be used to transfer the utilities.

The providers of any electricity, gas, oil and any other relevant fuels, water and environmental services to the property will be provided with any meter readings recorded at the Check-Out and Check-In.

If we are unable to locate or access the utility meter at the Check-Out/Check-In we will notify the provider and request they arrange a meter reading as soon as possible.
