Assuming the tenant wants to remain in the property and you are happy for the tenant to remain, at the end of the initial period you have the option to extend, renew or terminate the tenancy. For Full Management properties, Jungle Property will contact you approximately 10 weeks before the end of the initial period to advise you what your options are. For landlord managed properties, approximately 10 weeks before the end of the fixed term, the landlord will need to decide if they prefer to allow the tenancy to continue, grant a new tenancy or terminate the tenancy.

If the current tenancy was granted conditional on the payment of more than one months rent in advance (e.g. 6 months) because the tenant was unable to prove affordability, the landlord might not be willing to allow the tenancy to continue unless the tenant can prove the risk no longer exists (e.g. able to provide proof of affordability). In this scenario, the landlord may elect to offer a new tenancy with identical conditions as your current tenancy.
